To make up for the blogging silence, I just published three posts that somehow never went live.
The past few months have been quite busy in their own way. Nick was in DC for most of August for training, I was in DC for two weeks in September for work, and just a few days ago we were in Connecticut for the funeral of my beloved grandmother, Helen Antiuk. In between all that, Nick submitted his bids for our onward assignment (the results of which will be announced in December) and I finally got all my clearances and landed at #15 on the register of eligible hires for the Department of State's Foreign Service. I also had a nasty cold for a about a week. Phew. Hopefully the autumn will be a bit calmer.
