i'm so bad about this. between myspace, facebook, and my three email addresses, i'm tapped out. but...the blog just seems so much official. and professional. that's why i can't seem to forget about it. anyway...

since we got back from russia, nick and i did a little traveling in north america. there was the cancun company trip for a long weekend, skiing in the rockies another, a trip home for grammy's 80th, and a trip to san antonio to see my dad's parents. i would not recommend doing so much traveling while also attending grad school full time. it nearly killed us. but, now it's spring break (thank god!). erika is coming to visit, and we're planning to do some fun stuff like ski and chill out in boulder. i need it. nick and i are also planning to take gizmo on his first camping trip...as long as the spectacular weather holds out, we're planning to go to moab.

the big news is that nick and i both have state department internships for the summer. i'm going back to ukraine to intern in public affairs, and nick will be pursuing management in astana, kazakhstan. we're both super excited. hopefully we'll finally know if careers with state are something we want to pursue after the summer. i can't believe we're half-done with grad school...the job search is coming up fast. scary.
