On Monday, April 12, Nick was officially sworn in as a United States Agency for International Development Foreign Service Officer, along with 53 other people (two of whom are friends of ours from the University of Denver -- Leah and Jason, who are pictured above). Today was the start of five weeks of training, which will culminate in "flag day" when we find out where the fates are sending us...and when.
